Get ready for a summer filled with music in Crossley Park, Ripley!
Join us for a series of FREE unforgettable live performances every other Sunday afternoon throughout the summer (weather permitting)! Enjoy tunes from Newstead Brass, The Sugar Tree, Pure Steel, LickSquid, The Amber Band, and Newhall Band. Bring your friends, family, and a picnic blanket for a perfect afternoon out in the sun!

Sunday 23rd June - Newstead Brass
Swing, big band, jazz, film, and classical music as well as traditional brass band selections.
Sunday 7th July - The Sugar Tree
Mixing popular covers of Latin and pop, English and Spanish, always with their unique twist to make an eclectic mix.
Sunday 21st July - Pure Steel
Pure Steel create a party atmosphere with the beautiful sound of their steel drums, playing recognisable music that will make you want to dance!
Sunday 4th August - LickSquid
This popular, Ripley-based band put on an energetic and exciting performance filled with floor fillers from the last 60 years! They are guaranteed to get you dancing around the bandstand in Crossley Park!
Sunday 18th August - The Amber Band
A five-piece folk band from down the road in Ambergate. They perform Celtic music and their original folk songs. They are currently working on their fifth album which will feature songs they have written about historical characters and events connected with Derbyshire.
Traditional Brass Band that entertains the audience with recognisable music from over the past several decades.
Don't miss out on the chance to experience these incredible bands live! We will be joined by Emma & Jens Super Whippy ice cream at each event during the interval.
