About Ripley Skatepark... Located within Greenwich Community Sports Hub on Nottingham Road, Ripley Skatepark is a free outdoor facility for users of skateboards, roller skates, bicycles and skaters. The skatepark is made up of metal ramps on a tarmac base and includes a back and forth run with a quarter pipe and flat back either side of a funbox. Designed to encourage an active lifestyle, the skatepark provides a dedicated space where young people and families can enjoy wheeled sports, develop new skills, build confidence and meet friends in a positive community environment. Skateparks are recognised for promoting physical and mental well-being while helping to reduce social isolation and antisocial behaviour. Whether you're visiting for your first ride or you're a regular user, Ripley Skatepark offers a welcoming place to practise, have fun and be part of the local skating community.

A New Look for Ripley
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to The Old Farm Bus, their incredible team of artists and facilitators, and most importantly, the inspiring young people who came along to Greenwich Recreation Ground on Nottingham Road in Ripley to 'revamp the ramp' in the Summer of 2025.
Seeing the skatepark transformed through their graffiti session was truly uplifting. The creative energy, positivity, and enthusiasm everyone brought to the space made the day unforgettable. We hope the young people who took part will carry lasting memories with them, not only of the amazing artwork they created but also of the new skills they learned through the graffiti, DJ, and skating workshops.
We’re so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside The Old Farm Bus. We are now in our 6th year of Ripley Town Council funding weekly creative and sport sessions for our young residents at Old Farm in Marehay. Their commitment to creativity, inclusion, and youth engagement is something really special.
As Mikey from The Old Farm Bus so perfectly says, 'If there isn't a scene, make a scene.' You certainly did, and what a vibrant, inspiring scene it was yesterday.
