Amber Valley CVS offers free advice on forming or developing volunteering activities, whether you're an individual or part of a group. We also provide support with funding, governance, volunteer management, a Befriending Service, and household support. Additionally, we have access to Social Prescribers who are linked to local GP surgeries.

The Amber Valley Access Group have been operational for approximately 25 years.
We are a small friendly group who meet on the second Thursday of each month at 2.00pm- Meeting Room 2- Amber Valley Borough Council, Market Place, Ripley.
We look at giving advice and assistance to elderly and disabled people in Amber Valley.
For example:
Ramps instead of steps
Dropped kerb issues
Narrow doorways and raised threshold strips
Accessible toilets
Car parking for Blue Badge holders
Pathways and footways
