Everyone is welcome to join in. We hold meetings a couple of times per term and we meet to organise events, and fundraisers to enrich the lives of the children at our school. 

We are parents, carers and family members of the children in our school. We plan and help run events to raise funds for the school. Past events include a Christmas/Summer fayre, Discos, Craft nights and Film nights. All our funds are used to enhance the children’s learning and experiences at our school. Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings, which are very informal. We always need new members and help is much appreciated. If you think you could help, no matter how little (whether it is helping to plan and run the events, or doing things at home) please contact the school. 

The Friends of RJS are a group of parents and staff who work together to improve our school. We do this through fundraising - such as the Summer and Christmas Fair, charity cake sales etc. - and organising events for the children at our school (such as the Valentines Disco, leavers' ball etc.) Our events are usually a great success! The money we raise goes straight back into school to improve the resources and facilities available for our children, ultimately improving their learning experiences! 

 

We are always on the look out for new members to join us! If you are interested, please contact the school office. 

Our motto is ‘Many Hands Make Light Work’ and we are always trying to encourage new parents to join us. You can be involved as much or as little as you like. We hold regular meetings, but we understand that sometimes it is hard to come to all of them. Therefore, you could take one project on board and make it your own or put your name forward to help with at least one activity during the year. 

 

We are passionate about our school and helping the children be the best they can be. Over the years we have raised money to help the school in numerous ways, FORNS plays an important role in making our school a fun place for the children and their families. But we cannot do it alone. We need all the help that we can get to make every event a successful one. We are extremely lucky to have so many parents and friends of FORNS who are generous with both their time and resources. This has enabled us to hold some really successful fundraising initiatives like:- Disco's, parties, Christmas Fair's, Summer Fair's, Easter Fun Week, Bags 2 School, visit from White Post Farm, a Flower Display Workshop, hampers and much more..... 

 

Heage Primary School Parent, Teacher, and Friends Association (PTFA) is a group of parents, wider family members and school staff who support the school through putting on events for the pupils and raise much needed funds to provide opportunities, experiences and resources for the school.
