The Ambergate Carnival features a procession from the A610 to the recreation ground, with a grand opening to follow. Activities include stalls, inflatables, food and drink, a licensed bar, children's entertainment, live music, and dance and acrobatic displays. 

 

A great family afternoon out with plenty of stalls, bouncy castles, a bar, ice cream, burgers, a magic show, line dancing, a fire engine, face painting, a dog show and lots more! 

 

Come along and join in the fun! The event takes place every year during the Summer months. 

An annual trail that brings the community together on Halloween night whereby people can follow a virtual trail of decorated houses in Marehay.

The aim of the Marehay Community Trust is to bring the community of Marehay together by holding an annual village show usually held on the first Saturday in September. 

Non for Profit Music Festival set in the Heart of Ripley Derbyshire, Supporting the local music scene and bringing a varied collection of music to the community! 

 

The events are held during the Summer months every year. 

The Annual music & beer festival run by League of Zeal, with all proceeds donated to Lauren’s Legacy. 

Every year, on the second weekend in September (12th, 13th, & 14th September 2025), Waingroves hosts their yearly village show. Split up into three days, we host many activities and events that we always make sure there is something everyone can enjoy! From face painting and bouncy castles, to live music and horticulture there is something that the whole family can enjoy. 

 

We also host several mini events throughout the year too. We have a Daffodil Show every year in Easter and our Brass Band Concert every year in July.
