Remembrance in Ripley
The annual Remembrance Parade and Church Services in Ripley were sadly cancelled this year.

Regular supporters of this event know that our wonderful community turn out in their hundreds to either take part in the parade or to spectate through the streets of Ripley and at All Saints’ Church.

The Ripley Branch of the Royal British Legion wanted to ensure the safety of our community.

During the days around Remembrance, crosses were be placed in the sand box in the churchyard and wreaths were laid on the cenotaph.

Residents in our community united with the rest of the nation to make sure that no one was forgotten and honoured those who sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
