The Crossley Park events are cancelled but there's still plenty to enjoy!
It’s that time of the year again! Ripley Music Festival lands back with a bang! Due to the ongoing pandemic, the festival’s main Crossley Park event has had to be cancelled.
However, the festival is still on, but on a smaller scale. With the help of some of Ripley’s wonderful landlords, the Ripley Music Festival Committee has put together a fantastic lineup of FREE music for all to enjoy!
The mini-festival will take place 3rd – 11th July.
Steve Freeborn, Chair of Ripley Music Festival said, “We are disappointed that the Crossley Park and classical events cannot take place this year, but given the Covid situation, we are thrilled that the events that have been organised are happening. We will be back in full next year and hope everyone enjoys this year’s events – and keep looking at the Facebook page because more events are being arranged.”
Ripley Music Festival is a not-for-profit community event that has brought music to the forefront in the local community for the past 20 years.
Every July, due to the hard work of local volunteers, a music spectacular is held across the town with the highlight being the annual Party in the Park which is enjoyed by thousands of local people.
