Ripley Town Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Hannah Curzon as the new Town Clerk. Having served as the Deputy Clerk for the past seven years, Hannah has played a key role in the operations and development of the organisation. Her dedication and hard work have been instrumental in supporting local initiatives and ensuring the smooth running of the council's affairs.

In October 2024, Hannah achieved the Certificate in Local Council Administration, a qualification that officially makes her a qualified Town Clerk. This significant accomplishment reflects her commitment to professional development and her expertise in local government affairs.

A life-long resident of Ripley, Hannah brings a wealth of local knowledge to her new role. She lives in the town with her family and is deeply invested in the community, ensuring that the council remains responsive to the needs of its residents.

Hannah’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Ripley Town Council, as we embark on developing the ‘vision’ for the benefit of the community. She replaces the former Town Clerk, Jayne Simpson who has stepped down from the role to fulfil the position of Responsible Finance Officer at the council. Fiona Barrett, has been promoted to the Deputy Town Clerk position, having previously been the Admin Assistant since 2022.

Hannah said, "I am truly honoured to have been appointed as Town Clerk of Ripley and thankful to be given this opportunity. It has been a privilege to serve as Deputy Clerk for the past seven years, and my team and I look forward to continuing to work closely with the council and our community to support the growth and well-being of the Ripley Township."
