The revamped skatepark at Greenwich Recreation Ground on Nottingham Road in Ripley is officially OPEN and ready for action!

Whether you're a skateboarder or scooter enthusiast, this is your space to ride, practice tricks, and have fun with friends.

Come along, show off your skills, and join the growing skate community!

This project was mostly funded by money Ripley Town Council received under Section 106 of the Local Government Act 1972 from the Deer Park Development adjacent to Greenwich. The council contributed around £16,000 towards the £73,300 cost. We thank Amber Valley Borough Council for helping us secure this funding.

This new skatepark will give people of all ages a designated area to undertake their hobby. Skateparks are known to improve the health and well-being of users and reduce social exclusion and anti-social behaviour.
