Ripley Town Council support for local food banks
During December 2022 and January 2023, the Mayor of Ripley, Councillor Nigel Weaving and his Consort, Mrs. Phyllis Weaving, have presented local food banks with £500 to enable them to stock up their supplies to local help families in need.
Donations were made to Waingroves Methodist Church, Ripley Salvation Army, the PTA at Ripley Junior School and Ripley St. John's CE Primary School & Nursery .
These places are always needing non-perishable foods and toiletries to give out to the local community. If you have items you would like to donate, please contact them to arrange a suitable time to take them. Thank you.
