Ripley Town Council provides an exciting programme of FREE activities for young people in the Township, focusing on Health and Well-being, Music and Extreme Wheels. All taking place at the new community facility on Wednesday evenings at Greenwich Park, Nottingham Road, Ripley, Derbyshire.
THE RIPLEY YOUTH HUB
The Youth Hub is the place to meet new friends and take part in fun, indoor activities. Anyone between 11 and 18 years of age can come along - just turn up! FREE OF CHARGE!
Each week it has an interactive, healthy lifestyle programme which focuses on developing skills and knowledge through practical activities such as art, craft, cooking and interactive games including Nintendo Wii and table tennis.
It will help each participant to develop self-esteem, self-confidence, understanding and skills to enable them to understand the importance of leading a healthy life.
The project is staffed by two experienced Youth & Community Workers from the Blend Youth Project team in Ripley. All staff have current Enhanced DBS Checks, are youth work trained have appropriate training in key areas such as Safeguarding, Food Hygiene & Sexual Health.
All equipment is provided. All you need to do is turn up and have a great time!
The Youth Hub will restart on Wednesday 8th January 2020 and runs until Wednesday 25th March 2020.
