Cllr. Roland Emmas-Williams was first elected to Ripley Town Council in 1987 until 1999. He was re-elected in 2013, after returning to Ripley following a 12 year absence.
Roland served as a Councillor for Amber Valley Borough Council for 8 years.
He became a Councillor in order to serve the community and to help residents with their problems and issues, seeking to find a suitable solution.
Roland is currently Deputy Mayor of Ripley Town Council 2019/20.
Roland said, 'I wish to make the Parish of Ripley a better place to live and work and help the local Community to thrive with a local spirit for the benefit of all'.
