This competition is open to all residents, businesses and schools in the Ripley Township including Ambergate, Bullbridge, Hammersmith, Heage, Lower Hartshay, Upper Hartshay, Marehay, Nether Heage, Ridgeway, Sawmills, Street Lane, Upper Hartshay and Waingroves. The gardens or allotments to be judged must be in the Ripley Township.

Closing date for all entries is Sunday 30th June 2024 at 5pm. 
 
Judging for Best School Outside area will take place on Wednesday 3rd July 2024. 
 
Judging for all other categories will take place on Saturday 20th July 2024.

Entry is free. 
You must enter your own school, community project, business, garden or allotment and not on behalf of anyone else. 
The competition will be judged by the Ripley Town Mayor or a representative from Ripley Town Council and an independent person. 
Your garden or allotment must be in the Ripley Township (list above) 
Winners will be presented with their prize at an awards presentation in the autumn of 2024. 
Photos of winning entries will be used on the Ripley Town Council website, social media platforms, newsletter and in the press. 
Closing date for entries: Sunday 30th June 2024 at 5pm. 
Judging dates: Wednesday 3rd July 2024 for school entries. Saturday 20th July 2024 for all other categories. We will contact you to tell you an estimated time your garden / allotment will be judged.
