Ripley Town Council is the owner of the recreation ground and Community Hub on Nottingham Road in Ripley - the home of Ripley Town Football Club and Butterley United Cricket Club.
The Ripley Recreation Ground Charity (Charity Number: 520502) are the Managing Trustees of the facility.
We are pleased that we have been able to secure the long term future of the land as a sports and cultural hub for the Ripley community.
Greenwich Community Sports Hub has many uses for everyone and are not just a changing facility for the cricket and football clubs.
There is a kitchen and bar facility that is available for hire by any group or individual. It is typically used for business meetings, community groups, training events, and parties.
Hiring prices:
Room Hire £25.00 per hour
Concessions* £20.00 per hour
*Ripley Township residents (evidence required of address ie council tax) / charities/not-for-profit
Kitchen Hire £5.00 per event
Staffed Bar £40.00 per event
Deposit £20.00 payable upon booking (refunded upon the facility being left in a satisfactory condition)
Half-hour rate £10.00 / £12.50

Pre-School Cooking and Crafts (Kate & Jemma)
The class provides an enjoyable yet vital opportunity for children to learn cooking skills, gain nutritional education and make a dish which they can take home. During the cooking session, each child has their own workstation and equipment to weigh, chop, scoop, mix and measure all the ingredients required to make a tasty meal or pudding in individual portions. Fresh, healthy ingredients are provided. While the food is in the oven, you and your child can enjoy a craft session.
