Ripley Youth Hub
We are thrilled that we are able to bring the Ripley Youth Hub on Wednesday evenings to residents of the Ripley Township at Greenwich Community Sports Hub on Nottingham Road in Ripley.
We are pleased to be working with Blend Youth Project to provide FREE, fun activities for young people aged 11-18 on Wednesday evenings (5-7pm).
Ripley Town Council provides an exciting programme of FREE activities for young people in the Township. The venue is at the community facility at Greenwich Community Sports Hub, Nottingham Road, Ripley, Derbyshire, weekly on Wednesday evenings, 5-7pm.
The Youth Hub is the place to meet new friends and take part in fun, indoor activities. Anyone between 11 and 18 years of age can come along, FREE OF CHARGE! Make sure you book first...click here.
Each week it has an interactive, healthy lifestyle programme which focuses on developing skills and knowledge through practical activities such as art, craft, cooking and interactive games including Nintendo Wii and table tennis.
It will help each participant to develop self-esteem, self-confidence, understanding and skills to enable them to understand the importance of leading a healthy life.
The project is staffed by two experienced Youth and Community Workers from the Blend Youth Project team in Ripley. All staff have current Enhanced DBS Checks, are youth work trained have appropriate training in key areas such as Safeguarding, Food Hygiene & Sexual Health.
All equipment is provided. All you need to do is book in, turn up and have a great time!
