Our staff
We employ four, part time members of staff.
The Town Clerk, Deputy Town Clerk and Admin Assistant work from our office on Grosvenor Road in Ripley. This office is open Monday to Friday, 10am - 3pm.
We also employ a Caretaker at Greenwich Community Sports Hub.

Jayne Simpson Town Clerk & Responsible Finance Officer
Jayne started her role in May 2022. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding the local government sector. Jayne was voted Derbyshire Clerk of the Year in 2020 in her previous role as Clerk at Blackwell Parish Council. She is responsible for ensuring that the instructions of the Council in its functions as a Local Authority are carried out. She is accountable to the Council for the effective management of all its resources.
Hannah Curzon Deputy Town Clerk
Hannah has worked for Ripley Town Council since 2018. Her background is in events organisation and marketing having worked for several charities since graduating from university. Hannah was educated in Ripley and lives here with her family.
Fiona Barrett Admin Assistant admin@ripleytowncouncil.gov.uk Fiona joined our team in the summer of 2022. She provides administration support to the Clerk and Deputy Clerk. Her role also includes looking after venue bookings for the Greenwich Community Sports Hub on Nottingham Road in Ripley.
Mandy Beadell
Caretaker - Greenwich Community Sports Hub
Mandy officially joined the Ripley Town Council team in June 2023. She is the Caretaker of our community facility - Greenwich Community Sports Hub.
