Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III

Let's celebrate this historical event as a community!

The Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6th May, 2023 at Westminster Abbey, London, and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

The Ceremony will see His Majesty King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort. The Coronation will reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry.

We are encouraging the Ripley Township to come together as a community to hold a celebration. Whether it be a party at your home, or in your garden or a street party, like in the good old days!

We are thrilled to announce that we have allocated funding to community groups to organise celebrations in the Ripley Township. Please see below for more details.
