You are applying for a stall at the Ripley Spring Market.  Date of event: Sunday 19th May 2024 Time of event: 10am - 3pm Set up time: no earlier than 8.30am. You will be allocated a time to arrive. Venue: Ripley Market Place, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3BT 

We will accept bookings for the following stalls: 
Crafts / Jewellery 
Books 
Plants / Flowers / Cut flowers 
Artisan bread 
Toys 
Clothing / shoes 
Fresh fruit / vegetables 
Art 
Candles / soaps 
Seasonal gifts 
Hot food (not burgers or hot dogs) 
Charity stall limited to 4 at this event. Priority will be given to Ripley Township based charities / not for profit organisations. 
 
Terms and Conditions: 
 
Food stall application criteria 
We will not be accepting requests for stalls that sell hot food such as hot dogs, burgers, chips, ice-ream, candy floss etc. Other food stalls will be limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. 
We welcome stall requests from exciting, unusual food and drink that can be consumed on the day or taken away to enjoy at home. 
Information about allergens MUST be displayed on your stall. 
You must submit a copy of your hygiene rating from your local authority, food safety and hygience certificate / proof of Food Standards Agency rating, gas safety certificate, generator test certificate (if applicable) and risk assessment, with this application or you can email it to deputyclerk@ripleytowncouncil.gov.uk  
We cannot accept applications from stalls selling alcohol, due to limited space available for customers to consume in a cordoned off area at your stall. 
Please note: an electricity supply is not available at this event. We would prefer silent / quiet generators
Please submit a copy of your Public Liability Insurance with this online application (you can upload a copy of it below). 
Food vendors can either bring a gazebo (no bigger than 3m x 3m) or trailer. If you would like to bring a larger gazebo, please consult with Ripley Town Council before submitting your application. 
 
Stalls: 
You must bring your own gazebo (no bigger than 3m x 3m). Your gazebo must be strong and durable. The ground is hardstanding therefore weights MUST be used on each leg. If you would like to bring a larger gazebo, please consult with Ripley Town Council before submitting your application. If you attend with an unsuitable gazebo or without suitable weights on each leg of your gazebo, you will be asked to vacate the event. 
Gazebos, tables, chairs and market stalls will not be provided. 
Please note: an electricity supply is not available at this event. 
You must submit a copy of your Public Liability Insurance with this online application (you can upload a copy of it below). You will not be able to submit the application without it. 
We prefer not to duplicate more than one stall selling the same items. Therefore it will be on a first come, first served basis. 
Stall locations will be allocated to you on the day of the event. 
You will be sent setting up details for the event, a week before. 
Vehicles can be brought onto Ripley Market Place for unloading only. They have to be removed from Ripley Market Place by 10am. Off road parking and Pay and Display car parks are close by. 
 
Cost of a stall: 
Charities - FREE plus a £20.00 refundable deposit* will be required when booking. 
 
Own Gazebo (3m x 3m) / Trailer - £30.00 plus a £20.00 refunadable deposit* when booking. 
 
* Deposits will be refunded at the event, either by cash or cheque. If you don't attend on the day, you will forfeit your deposit. 
 
Payment for a stall: 
Your stall application cannot be confirmed until you have paid your deposit and cost of your stall. 
 
You can pay in one of the following ways -

Cheque - made payable to 'Ripley Town Council' and delivered or posted to: Ripley Town Council , 6, Grosvenor Road, Ripley, DE5 3JF no later than Wednesday 1st May 2024. 
Cash - Please bring your payment to the Ripley Town Council office, 6, Grosvenor Road, Ripley, DE5 3JF, no later than Wednesday 1st May 2024. 
 
Cancellation of event: 
Should we have to cancel the event due to extreme weather conditions or unforseen circumstances, we will aim to give you 24 hours’ notice, by telephone. A full refund will be given if this happens.
