I was elected to Ripley Town Council in May 2023. 

 

I wanted to be a councillor because I saw a lack of representation of young people within the council and I want to be the voice young people use to get their views into Ripley Town Council. 

 

I also want to support people, being transgender and growing up on the poverty line, I know what it is like to have no support. I especially want to support people's mental health and help increase the amount of support we have in Ripley for young people, young families and people struggling on a daily basis. 

 

I want to show that I can represent people well. I want to show the people of the East Ward in Ripley that they were right to place their trust in me and all the other councillors elected. 

 

I would like to improve the youth work within Ripley. I also want to help families through the cost of living crisis and deliver continues stability for the people of Ripley. 

 

I cosplay frequently and attend comic cons when I can. I also have a big interest in Doctor Who. I usually attend with my little brother, Joe and we have the best time! 

 

I am also a young carer within my family and support them as best I can.  

 

I am currently aiming to go to Sheffield University to study politics.
