I was re-elected to Ripley Town Council in May 2023.  

 

I was a Town Councillor in Ripley for 12 years from 1987, including being Town Mayor (1990-1991), but I took a step back to concentrate on family and work. 

 

Recently, I decided to return and was successfully elected to the new Peasehill Ward. I am passionate about the township of Ripley and seek to preserve and enhance its attributes. I hop to be able to represent the ward of Peasehill and it's local interests for local people to the best of my abilities. 

 

I would like to carry on with the work to improve the appearance of the township.

I am Chair of the Alfreton Cyclists Touring Club and a member of the Friends of Ripley Greenway.
