Councillor Sean Carter
(North Ward)
37 Bridle Lane
DE5 3BL
Tel: 01773 741600
I was elected to Ripley Town Council in 2007, then again in 2015.
I wanted to become a Councillor to try to help improve the lives of Ripley residents and make Ripley a better place to live. I also wanted to find out more about how local government affects everyone and what it does to make the township better.
I will try to improve the township by speaking with local residents to find out that their concerns are and then trying to get them resolved.

Personal Interests:
In my day job, I work for a Derby based fire and security company carrying out Health and Safety Audits.
I am a keen motorcyclist (riding and renovating) and go to the gym and do Yoga twice a week. DIY is a big passion and I can turn my hand to most things. I was, in a previous life, the DJ at the Regal and Tonkers in Ripley for 16 years.
