Ripley Youth Hub update 

In the height of the Coronavirus outbreak, we unfortunately had to stop our weekly Youth Hub.  
Now that restrictions are easing, we are hoping to reopen our Youth Hub at the community facility at Greenwich on Nottingham Road in Ripley, buy the end of May 2021! 
We are working with Blend Youth to devise a new safe and exciting programme for young people to take part in on Wednesday evenings. We are also working with Amber Valley School Sports Partnership to hold sessions throughout the school holidays.

Ripley Town Council provides an exciting programme of FREE activities for young people in the Township. The venue is at the community facility at Greenwich Park, Nottingham Road, Ripley, Derbyshire, weekly on Wednesday evenings, 6-8pm. 
The Youth Hub is the place to meet new friends and take part in fun, indoor activities. Anyone between 11 and 18 years of age can come along - just turn up! FREE OF CHARGE! 
Each week it has an interactive, healthy lifestyle programme which focuses on developing skills and knowledge through practical activities such as art, craft, cooking and interactive games including Nintendo Wii and table tennis. 
It will help each participant to develop self-esteem, self-confidence, understanding and skills to enable them to understand the importance of leading a healthy life. 
The project is staffed by two experienced Youth & Community Workers from the Blend Youth Project team in Ripley. All staff have current Enhanced DBS Checks, are youth work trained have appropriate training in key areas such as Safeguarding, Food Hygiene & Sexual Health. 
All equipment is provided. All you need to do is turn up and have a great time!
